🚨 BIG WIN for Dealers & Consumers! 🚨 Great news! The U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit just struck down the FTC’s Vehicle Shopping Rule (“CARS” Rule) after a legal challenge by NADA & TADA. The court ruled that the FTC failed to follow proper procedures, meaning the rule has no force or effect.  🔥 Why this matters: This decision is a major victory for both dealers & consumers! The CARS Rule would have added unnecessary complexity, paperwork, and costs to the car-buying process—making it more frustrating for everyone. Thanks to this ruling, dealers can focus on delivering the best possible customer experience without unnecessary red tape. ✅ What’s next? Dealers should still follow all existing FTC regulations on advertising, sales, and financing. NADA will keep fighting for dealer interests at the FTC, in Congress, and in the courts. This win reinforces the importance of due process and ensures a better, more efficient car-buying experience for all! 🚗💨
