Half of Gaza’s hospitals are not operating, and the ones that are still open are only partially functioning. Health facilities are under attack and running out of critically needed medicines and supplies, hindering the delivery of lifesaving health services. Not a single hospital can provide the full care people need right now. And with malnutrition surging, health needs will only increase. Humanitarian corridors must be opened to ensure families can receive access to desperately needed aid. #Americares #Gaza

These conditions cause a higher risk of infection, death and lifelong harm to brain development, creating an unimaginable health situation for mothers and their children. 245 tonnes of aid delivered in just 6 months! 🚚🌍 Since 2024, the Fondation CMA CGM has been supporting Americares through the Containers of Hope program — helping deliver life-saving medicines and medical supplies around the world. In the first half of 2025 alone, this partnership enabled the shipment of nearly 250 tonnes of aid to 12 countries, from Lebanon to Zambia. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped us at our 4th annual backpack drive supporting the #Americares Free Clinics! Over 40 people joined us at our Stamford headquarters to fill backpacks, generously donated by Patagonia Filled with essential school supplies, these bags will ensure local students can start off the school year with the tools they need to succeed. #BackToSchool

By November 25, 2020, 2.5 million people in Honduras had limited or no access to health services due to back-to-back hurricanes. Even with the destruction of their local clinics in Santa Barbra, Dr. Saydi Paredes and her team didn't stop - they continued providing health care, such as visiting neighborhoods to administer flu vaccines to senior citizens and children. Thanks to the local community, and #Americares partner ChildFund, Dr. Saydi received the keys to a new clinic—now stronger and better prepared for future storms. This dedication to bringing health care to communities, no matter the distance, demonstrates the commitment to #Americares mission to provide pathways to health and opportunity.

#Gaza is facing a catastrophic health and hunger crisis. The entire population is at critical risk of famine. In just the last 24 hours, 14 more people have died from starvation and malnutrition. Every statistic represents a family, a community, a future cut short. These are preventable deaths. A humanitarian pause and air drops of aid are not enough. #Americares
