The draft Continuing Resolution extends Medicare Telehealth Flexibilities through September, preserving critical access to virtual care for millions, including hospital-at-home programs. But key provisions remain unresolved—Congress must act swiftly to reinstate them. Grateful for the ATA Action team leading the charge. The fight for permanent solutions continues.

Telehealth Update: What’s in (and out) of the CR! Resharing Kyle Zebley’s important update on the latest Continuing Resolution (CR). As expected, the CR extends Medicare Telehealth Flexibilities and Acute Hospital Care at Home through September, but leaves out other critical telehealth provisions that millions of Americans rely on. 🚀 The ATA, ATA Action, and the entire telehealth community remain committed to restoring key policies, including: ✔️ First-dollar coverage for HDHP-HSAs ✔️ Telehealth as an excepted benefit ✔️ An expanded Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program (MDPP) with telehealth components ✔️ Expanded in-home cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services The CR still has hurdles in Congress, but once finalized, these telehealth extensions should be secured. Bipartisan support has been instrumental in advancing telehealth, and we’ll continue advocating to ensure telehealth remains accessible for all. Let’s keep pushing for the policies that make a difference! #Telehealth #HealthcareInnovation #ATAAction

🚨 Telehealth Update: Continuing Resolution (CR) Text Released 🚨 The CR text is out, and as expected, it mirrors the omnibus from late last year by extending crucial Medicare Telehealth Flexibilities as well as Acute Hospital Care at Home through the end of September, but leaving out other key telehealth provisions. The American Telemedicine Association, ATA Action, and the entire telehealth community will continue pushing to restore critical policies so important to millions of everyday Americans, including: ✔ First-dollar coverage for HDHP-HSAs ✔ Telehealth as an excepted benefit ✔ An expanded Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program (MDPP) with telehealth components ✔ Expanded in-home cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services The CR still needs to be passed by Congress, and its path forward remains uncertain. However, once finalized, these telehealth extensions should be locked in. We are deeply grateful for the bipartisan support that has been instrumental in advancing telehealth initiatives for so many years. Notably, many of these critical policies were implemented under President Trump's leadership in his first term, reflecting a shared commitment to enhancing healthcare access for all Americans. #Telehealth #HealthcarePolicy #Medicare #RemoteCare #DigitalHealth #HealthEquity #HealthTech #PolicyUpdate #HospitalCareAtHome #VirtualCare #HealthcareInnovation #PublicPolicy #Legislation #HealthAccess #Telemedicine Read the bill text:
