This week, the Australian Consulate-General in New York and the Embassy of Australia, United States of America hosted their Australian Super Summit in Washington, D.C and at the American Australian Association's Murdoch Center in New York City. Bringing together leaders from Australia's largest superannuation funds and industry associations, the summit provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen US-Australia investment ties and engage in meaningful discussions shaping the future of superannuation on a global scale.

Congratulations to our 2025 honorees at the G'Day USA Arts Gala—Teresa Palmer, Tim Minchin, and Warwick Thornton—celebrating their incredible contributions to the arts. From oysters to aerial photography to reconnecting with fellow Aussies—our Murdoch Center has been buzzing with community engagement, all set against the breathtaking Manhattan skyline. We recently hosted a full-day Oyster Education Summit with the Master Oyster Guide, an exhibition by Zoe Wetherall showcasing stunning aerial photography of Australia, and a special cocktail event with Melbourne Grammar School, bringing Old Melburnians together in New York. We are excited to announce the launch of the American Australian Association Presidents’ Lunch, an initiative that brings together longstanding partners, leaders, and organizations in our distinguished Murdoch Center overlooking Manhattan. These lunches serve as a platform to recognize those who have played a pivotal role in supporting our mission while engaged in meaningful discussions on the Association’s new value propositions to our Premier Members. This week, we hosted our first two President's Lunches with government leaders, corporate partners, and Association scholars, and we are looking forward to hosting more members and partners in the future.
