ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google Gemini are rewriting the rules. Users get instant, synthesized answers—and AI decides whose content makes the cut. 🚫 No scrolling SERPs. 🚫 No clicking websites. 🚫 No patience required. Content isn’t just competing for rankings anymore. It’s competing to be cited. To be trusted. The old SEO playbook? Fading fast. A new era is here. If your content isn’t utilizing AI workflows, you’re already behind.

There’s a lot of hype around ‘AI-first’ workforces. But what does that actually look like in practice? At Build Club, we’ve spent the last six months experimenting and speaking with workforce AI experts to understand how companies are truly leveraging AI. Our mantra: scale in a way that gives employees superpowers—not replacing them 💡. At our standup today, Arvind Singharpuria demo'd the first version of an AI blog writer that can save us 10+ hours a week! All from a tool he learnt in a few days called AirOps! Internally, we have found these enablers make step changes to being an 'AI first company': 1. Experimentation: We give our team time to learn and explore new tools, in this case we worked directly with Steven Male and AirOps as part of an upcoming partnership drop! 2. Iteration: We keep the human in the loop for a while, iterate and compare with other tools (Arvind's blog writer when working will be a course). 3. Automation: Once the AI tool is running smoothly, we keep quality in check with regular reviews! For fast-moving teams, maximizing ROI with AI isn’t about replacing people, it’s about amplifying their impact. Are you experimenting with AI in your workflows? We’d love to hear below! 📷: today's team standup Arvind live demoing! -- P.S. If you're losing organic traffic and are not sure what's going on: Google has been ramping AI Overviews (AIOs) up and down over the last 6 months. No wonder your traffic is all over the place! 3 sites - two clients, the last one is Chegg - show the exact same pattern when you filter for AI Overviews (meaning "only show top 10 keywords when AIOs show up in the search results"). And, just to be clear, AIOs have a significant impact on click-through rates. In my webinar with AirOps on Tuesday, I'll talk in-depth about 1. The exact impact of AIOs 2. How to optimize for AIOs 3. How to adjust your strategy to soften the blow The webinar is on March 11th, 10 AM EST. I'll share a sign-up link in the comments.

How I went from spending an entire day preparing a week’s worth of content, to just 1-2 hours using AirOps + Relevance AI ✍️ I spent the last weekend building v1 of my personal content creation automation system in AirOps. And I’m really (really) excited about the results so far. Here’s how it overall works: → Relevance AI scrapes posts of creators in my target space every day → Sends those posts via API to my knowledge base in AirOps → Workflow in AirOps combines multiple steps to write post draft variations: ↳ Pulls relevant posts from my knowledge base of scraped posts ↳ Selects a hook template from a knowledge base of templates ↳ Prompts AI to write post drafts ↳ Uses info in my Brand Kit to tailor posts for my brand & niche The idea here is for AI + tools to handle the heavy lifting of content creation — generating an idea, analysing similar/relevant posts, selecting templates, and writing drafts. All of which takes 1-2 minutes. My role = reviewing the drafts, taking parts I like & deleting what I don’t, and combining them into my final post. (Not ready to completely hand everything off to an AI yet, and I don’t think anyone should either) Will be talking about some of the key features I absolutely love about AirOps in the weeks to come – Brand Kit, Knowledge Bases, Workflows, all that jazz. In the meantime… excited for what v2 is going to look like 😎

Content and SEO teams aren’t limited by bandwidth—they’re limited by their ability to build smart workflows. The best content teams aren’t just creating content.
