About us
Airlink is a global humanitarian organization delivering critical aid to communities in crisis by providing free airlift and logistical solutions to nonprofit partners, changing the way the humanitarian community responds to disasters around the world. Airlink's network includes more than 200 aid organizations and nearly 50 air carrier and logistics partners worldwide. Its first mission was the response to the Haiti earthquake in 2010. Since its inception, Airlink’s airline partners have provided over 11,000 flights for relief workers and transported nearly 12,000,000 pounds of humanitarian cargo, saving nonprofits nearly $33 million in air transport costs and directly helping at least 46 million people. This is made possible through the expertise of Airlink's team, in-kind airlift from commercial airlines, and donations from organizations and individuals within the aviation sector and beyond.

Over the course of nearly two years, throughout navigating changing variables and immense hurdles hindering aid delivery, Airlink's humanitarian response in Gaza continues... • Providing logistics support to 28 international humanitarian organizations • Moving 419 metric tons of supplies • Transporting 134 skilled humanitarians and medical volunteers • Saving NGOs more than $3M in transportation costs • Reaching hundreds of thousands of Palestinians This has been one of Airlink's largest and most challenging responses in our 15-year history. Airlink stands in solidarity with the humanitarian community seeking increased access to relief supplies like food, medicine, and shelter for Palestinians. As a community, we have so much work to do. Since 2021, Airlink has provided services in and around the region in partnership with key organizations. Despite the recent access challenges Airlink and its partners face, the mission of moving and prepositioning resources for vetted NGOs remains just as important as ever. Look back at Airlink’s work in Gaza over the years and how we’ve been making a difference for thousands: https://lnkd.in/ghp7qFCf

MONITORING: The 8.7 earthquake that struck off Russia’s eastern Kamchatka region on July 29 is tied for being the sixth-strongest recorded in history. Fortunately, minimal damages have been reported and tsunami warnings and advisories for Alaska, Japan, Hawaii, and surrounding areas have been downgraded or lifted. However, Airlink will continue to monitor the situation as concern for potentially deadly aftershocks remains. This is the strongest earthquake since the 2011 Japan earthquake and tsunami, which Airlink responded to. We are in touch with key partners on any potential support, especially for communities in the Pacific that have limited response capabilities. Take a look back at the importance of rapid response in an earthquake and how Airlink prepares partners: https://lnkd.in/gwbmPhwj

What you need to know about Airlink’s response in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)👇 Intense conflict in the #DRC since early 2025 has resulted in mass displacement and has exacerbated humanitarian needs. Over 28 million people are now facing acute food insecurity — the highest number ever recorded in the DRC — and a deteriorating health system. In collaboration with seven of our NGO partners, Airlink has delivered 99 tons of aid supplies to communities in need in the country. A recent World Emergency Relief shipment, made possible through Airlink’s free-of-charge transportation model, reached 30,000 people with urgent food assistance. Learn more about our relief efforts in the DRC and donate to make further shipments possible at airlinkflight.org.

Airlink, Inc. reposted this
Last week, we sent over 65,000 lbs. of medical equipment and supplies to multiple partners in Ethiopia on two containers and one airplane - WOW! Our first load traveled via air on Wednesday with hospital beds & mattresses, linens, stretchers, multiple ECG & Blood Pressure machines, and critically needed biomedical equipment. All are on their way to the Tigray Region thanks to Airlink, Inc. and Aid Pioneers. In addition, 40 hospital beds & mattresses, 20 patient chairs, hundreds of orthopedic supplies, and pallets upon pallets of the facility's most-used consumables - including exam gloves and adult diapers - are en route via two, 40-foot sea containers to MEKEDONIA CHARITY HOMES thanks to Noble Humanitarian Missions. A special shout-out to AJB TRUCKING INC for the driver's extra hands at Friday's loading, which occurred in close to record heat, even at 8 in the morning!

LOOKING BACK: Airlink’s first response ✈️ We’re halfway through our 15th anniversary year! Let’s look back on our origin story: On January 12, 2010, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake struck Haiti, which took hundreds of thousands of lives and left 1.5 million people displaced. Airlink went into action for the first time, sending water, food, temporary shelter, and medical supplies to those in need. Our total impact included: • 41 flights flown into Haiti and the Dominican Republic • 2,010 responders sent • 500,500 pounds of cargo transported • $220,601 in transportation provided This all happened thanks to aviation professionals and industry leaders, with support from the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT Foundation) coming together to establish Airlink as the organization that could coordinate needs on-the-ground and transport between the NGOs who had the resources. As we reflect on #15YearsOfAirlink, and having helped 60+ million people worldwide, we hope you’ll join us to keep providing life-saving aid to communities in crisis. Be a part of our mission by donating $15 per month during the second half of the year: https://lnkd.in/e4-pEw56
