In December, my partner and great friend Frederik and I defended our bachelor's thesis, 'Aeromine Power Performance Measurements', and completed our bachelor's degree in Design of Sustainable Energy at DTU. I am now excited to begin my master's degree in Sustainable Energy Systems this January!

Energy is at the heart of climate, which is why we're laser-focused on supporting climatetech innovations in the energy capital of the world: Houston. This was the theme of our Energy Sector Pitch Day at Greentown Houston, which focused on making curated connections between energy-industry-leading corporates, investors, and the startups whose technologies will shape the energy transition, starting at ground zero in Houston. The day kicked off with a private roundtable for investors, followed by a series of pitches from 10 #energy startups and four reverse pitches from corporate partners to share how they work with startups, plus a fireside chat with Barbara Burger and Bobby Tudor. C Patrick Reynolds, BALAKRISHNA KONERU and Shawn J. Macha, PhD from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center for their collaborative work on Compositions and Methods for the Diagnosis and Treatment of ALT Cancer, a technology with great potential for significant impact on industry, society and beyond. 🏆 2024 "Startup of the Year" – Aeromine Technologies, Inc., whose revolutionary wind energy solution is transforming rooftop power generation. Since the company was first founded, Aeromine has rapidly advanced from concept to commercialization through a collaboration between Dr. Carsten Westergaard, TTU Innovation Hub programming, and Sandia National Labs. The company has quickly gained global market traction, securing commercial pilot projects with industry leaders such as BASF, BMW, and Tractor Supply. Scalable production is set for late 2025, positioning Aeromine as a trailblazer in clean energy innovation. 🏆 2024 "Deal of the Year" – Inside Out LLC, a company founded by Suzy Amis Cameron dedicated to introducing revolutionary solutions that tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
