How do young scholars see the future of the 4TU.History of Technology Centre?  🚀 Last December the 4TU.History of Technology Centre was officially launched during the first annual symposium. This new Centre is a hub for collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing. It offers young and early-career scholars a space to connect, experiment, and grow.  But what are young researchers ideas about this hub? And how do they see its role? The MDR in practice: learning from experiences together. Since its introduction in 2021, the MDR legislation 💼has had a significant impact on everyone involved in healthcare innovations ✨ To support and guide the practical application of these regulations in academic research, the MDR Working group was established.   This collaborative group, which is backed by the 4TU.Health centre, includes representatives from the four technical universities🎓, hospitals🏥 and universities of applied sciences. By sharing valuable insights and experiences, the group serves as an advisory body for external authorities and acts as a key source of information for researchers. Curious to learn more? 🔙⏩ ''History as source and laboratory for today's and tomorrow's challenges'' | A group of early career and established #historians and other experts gathered on 6 December in Utrecht for the first annual symposium of the 4TU.History of Technology centre. They had been invited to set the agenda for this new 4TU centre and to identify the opportunities for #collaboration. 💡 One of the #takeaways? Technology historians matter. Because of the enormously broad range of research being done by them, there is an enormous amount of knowledge about the use of technology in the transitions of #thenandnow and how this can be applied in a #sustainable way.
