By tailoring your BI showcase to align with user preferences, employing visual elements judiciously, and maintaining consistency with corporate branding, you can significantly enhance the effectiveness of your value demonstration.

Like in any other profession, you need to put some efforts in order to stand out from the rest of the professionals. Here are some tips that can be helpful. Make a portfolio showcasing your experience and skills. List your demo dashboard, show some dashboard, demos and technical knowledge. Make sure to build a good network and showcase your hard and soft skills. Keep in touch with your network. Make a good use of referral programs. engage in problem solving for others. Keep on upgrading yourself. Work on freelance projects. Explore other tools and technologies. keep on asking for constructive feedback and work towards constant improvement. Build a good resume that shows how you are a fit for the gap that exists.

The documentation can be in the form of a blog post, a recorded video uploaded on Youtube etc. With the speed at which BI space is evolving, its difficult to remember everything and this kind of documentation practices help to revisit and refresh the learned concepts!

Demonstrate tangible outcomes, like increased efficiency or revenue growth, with relevant metrics and case studies. Highlight how you've adapted the implementation to various project needs, showcasing your ability to tailor solutions to specific business problems. Also, you can have a portfolio on DataCamp, Maven Analytics, create your personal webpage etc.

Creating a personal Webpage like Google sites or wix sites which showcases your project list, public events and authored work helps in both publicity and ease of access for others to see your value.

I’m a big fan of on-demand micro learning these days. Learning while doing. There is no better way to learn anything than by actually implementing it. That has always been important in the data arena. The reality is AI is about to assist in everything we do, so utilise it as much as possible to learn faster and more effeciantly.

It's highly beneficial to stay curious, enhance your skills, keep up with trends. On top, I promote cross-skilling in complementary technologies, especially when dealing with large datasets, as well as uplifting the soft skills. Continuous learning can also keep you excited and motivated.
