The Erika Pohl-Ströher Collection

May 8, 2025: We are honored to present releases from the Dr. Erika Pohl-Ströher (1919-2016) collection of specimens in gallery format for purchase, in collaboration with the Pohl family. Dr. Pohl amassed the largest known collection of minerals, during her more than 70 years of collecting activity. She specialized in "everything," and so the collection is made up of suites approaching 100,000 specimens which we are selecting from. We started 2023 with auction sales to bring out just the first teasers from her vast collection spanning the "Golden Era" of mineral collecting in the late 1900s.
