To me, Max Hardcore is the porn equivalent of Quentin T. in mainstream: dragging cinema down as low as it can possibly go. Just as QT has engendered thousands of imitators of his facetious approach, so Max, here calling himself "Max Steiner" to insult the great soundtrack composer, almost singlehandedly has replaced story oriented Adult Cinema with gonzo crap.

This first in a lengthy series of Max porn-parodies, incompetently imitates that lousy HBO series starring Page Fletcher as the poor man's Rod Serling. I much preferred David Duchovny taking the rap years later in "Red Shoe Diaries", but Max found this format suitable for his brand of crap.

Max stars in the first of three lousy segments, abusing a young blonde girl for fun and profit. The second segment employing Gerry Pike and the hitch-hiker himself in a threesome is pointless, while the finale is a typical incest scene of Dick Nasty having sex with the only "name" talent on the payroll, Tami Ann, convincing as a Lolita type.

The dialog Max wrote for Tim to recite to the camera as he wanders down the highway is execrable, and nearly 25 years later I still can't understand why his brand of porn caught on, anymore than I can understand the cult of "undesirables" who support Trump through thin and thin.
