This Wicked Pictures feature by David Lord is mediocre filmmaking, but satisfying as sexy vignettes, when it could have been a real movie (it gets the "a David Lord Movie" credit on screen anyway).

Lord has become a prominent producer lately for two of Adult Cinema's greatest all-time feature film labels: Wicked and Adam & Eve, but this release has the "File under All Sex" caption on the box cover, indicating what's wrong here.

He has functional but all too brief and unconvincing set-up scenes, allotting perhaps a minute or two to short-hand establishment of situation and characters before the segment's XXX takes over for 25 minutes or so each. More work on his script could have easily elevated this to stick-to-the-ribs entertainment rather than the "let's get right to the sex" generic approach now so popular in the marketplace.

Best example of this is Lord's failure to capitalize on his casting of Victoria June. Alongside Ella Knox, she is potentially the breakthrough starlet of the year in terms of the big boobs category, in an era when petite, underage-looking talent rules among newcomers. But Lord merely has her show up as a call girl, arriving at sheepish married guy Seth Gamble's door to hump him for a few Franklins, and nothing more. Sure, we get to see her Botox lips, amazing breasts and talented blow job technique in action but little more. Contrast this with Dana Vespoli's incredibly memorable teaming of Victoria with Darcie Dolce in Sweetheart's "Lesbian Massage 3" -a scene that instantly raised June to the head of her class in my book.

Other segments have similarly squandered potential: well-acted random meeting in a bar for unhappily married Nina Elle and Marcus London, with poor transition from their heart on sleeve conversation to sudden humping in the place's bathroom; furtive sex on the couch for lovely Alexa Grace and wooden (as usual) Lucas Frost, while her hubby (over the hill Eric John in NonSex cameo) is temporarily away, with cornball ending; and dumb skit of new-look (barely recognizable) Mercedes Carrera seducing her lawyer boss Jay Smooth.

Worst scene has black on black sex very unconvincingly portrayed as doctor Kira Noir gets it on with patient Ricky Johnson in his hospital bed after a preposterously brief cameo by his wife Jay Taylor, fleeing the premises as if afraid that her paltry check for such a pointless NonSex "Role" (if you can call it that) might bounce. Both Kira and Ricky sport cornrow hairdos, visually upstaging the routine parade of sexual positions the director has them assume.
