Michael Langdon learns what happened to his allied that were burnt at the stake. Cordelia appears and invites him to join he coven, but he declines to look for his father. He goes to the forest and unsuccessfully summons Lucifer for several days to know what he should do. Starving and dirty, he wanders until he stumbles upon a church that worships Lucifer. A woman named Madelyn Lurch takes him home, feeds him and learns that he has the mark of the Antichrist. She presents him to the High Priestess Hannah Putt and the worshipers at the church and then drives him to a company where the owners may help him.
"Sojourn" seems to be a spoof of the "American Horror Story". The powerful Michael Langdon looks like a powerless loser until he meets the wealthy and drugged Dumb and Dumber that are not Lloyd and Harry but Mutt and Jeff. For a Satan's worshiper, Madelyn Lurch is a gentle middle-aged woman bringing a homeless home to feed him. My vote is six.

- TriviaCarl Orff's O Fortuna is played for the second time in this series. Known as the Gregorian chant, it has been used in many films and TV shows to signify Satanic or cataclysmic situations and has been called "the most overused piece of music in film history", and Harper's Magazine columnist Scott Horton has commented that "Orff's setting may have been spoiled by its popularization" and its use "in movies and commercials often as a jingle, detached in any meaningful way from its powerful message." Its contemporary usage is often joking or satirical in nature, owing to its over-saturation in popular culture.
- GoofsWhile eating his soup Michael alternates between holding a spoon and a chunk of bread between shots.
- Quotes
Madeline: I offered up my soul, and he gave me all this. Riches beyond compare. I've got a La-Z-Boy, a cable package with all the premium channels. I shoot up heroin as much as I want, and I never get the sweats. And every Wednesday night Brad Pitt comes over and fucks me till the sun comes up. On Friday nights I get Ryan Reynolds.
