Die Trying

I had little expectations from this show, but it turned out be really entertaining. The episodes were short and crisp, and the characters can relly get you hooked. Worth a watch not just for the comedy, but because the creators genuinely tried to go off the beaten path.

Loved the overall plot of the series. Explained the music scene in the city.I thought the jokes execution would have been even better. Overall it was descent.

My 12th boards were starting in less than a month and being a Science student, life is pretty hard XD So while trying to generate some chemistry with my physics book (bcz well valentines day and yet i was a having a date with my books xD ) and a cup of chai, a notification from amazon prime came. Well it was about die trying! And what could be a better way to laugh off all that stress and anger than to watch KENNY SEBASTIAN! :') Thanx kenny for generating such an awesome show! It honestly did get my mind off that stress for like those 20-25 minuets! Also, niharika's, Vidyut's and aji's acting! Loved it. Hope to see more of this! Also? Who doesnt like chai time is the best time. :))

Okay, firstly, everyone who is saying it's not funny didn't get it. I'm a seventeen year old and I watched the whole series before my Physics exam. I just thought I would take a peek, but I got hooked, watching episode after episode. The length of the episodes and season was just right, neither dragging it nor cutting it down, hitting the sweet spot where you finally close your browser, feeling just so HAPPY. Writing. The writing is very smart. It's not slapstick; don't expect a Comedy Nights. Since the story was about musicians and their problems, I initially thought I wouldn't relate, but I had no problem. Kenny has this style of awkward comedy and the humor is very situational, which I like. Since it's not punchline after punchline, many of the in-your-face-comedy watchers may not like it. Acting. Amazing. I myself, being a diehard Kenny fan, was watching it for Kenny, but EVERYONE was so amazing. Perfect, actually. Kenny, Vidyuth, Soundarya, Adarsh, Niharika, Neville, Mikhail, the cameos of Naveen, Urooj, Kanan... Wow Music. So good. SO good. I'm just waiting for them to win awards. I'v watched it so many times I've started TALKING like Kenny. Just saying 'da' at the end of sentences, replacing yaar with 'macha' although I have NO idea what it means. If I've to give one piece of advice, I'd say DON'T make another season. What you have is just right.

Kenny (show's creator) has a huge fan following all over India and this is the only reason people are watching this show. On its own this show has no strong point.

Poor character building, none of the character in show has a personality of their own. Kenny should learn from his good friend Sumukhi about this as she has done a great job with her show. Each character of her show stands outs on its own. On other hand in this show, love interest of Kenneth talks only about Sabotaging her songs. Yes from first show till the end, you will hear word Sabotage a lot from her mouth.

Kenny made great mistake for setting this show in 2004, production house failed miserably to create that era. In 2004 they are using a camera model (for Photoshoot Ep) that was launched in 2012 and clothing, language is all 2017 not at all 2004. They thought making a old school restaurant set and avoiding mobile phones is all they need to do.

Each episode is pain to watch with story going nowhere and filled with stupid skits to bring comedy.

There is nothing good here. (Except the tile credit sound track)
