Exposing 'Double Exposure' (2017)
*** (out of 4)
This here is a fun, detailed interview with cinematographer R. Michael Stringer who talks about his career with a lot of focus paid to the 1983 film DOUBLE EXPOSURE. Stringer starts off talking about how he got into the business and what got him the job on this picture. From here he goes into some very good stories about the production of the film including what his job is and what he tries to do on every film that he works on. The highlight for me was hearing Stringer talk about shooting an anamorphic picture and how this changes a lot of things. He goes into some good detail about shooting pictures and what has to be done with the director to make sure both are happy. Fans of the film will certainly be entertained by this featurette.
