The storyline really has potential but the script was horrendous. Whoever wrote these lines for the actors should stay away from script writing forever. I can't really blame the actors for their poor performances since they were handed such a bad script and the plot was just poorly executed. Please don't waste your time unless you have no life.
Saw this at the Imagine filmfestival 2021, usually in Amsterdam but now 100% online. We saw demonstrated that it IS indeed possible with a tiny budget, a limited cast, and a small-scale location, to create a full-fledged Horror movie that kept us interested throughout the full running time. Lots of developments, turns of events and (counter)accusations. Tension is maintained as we are continuously in doubt who is who with a possibly hidden agenda, and who is telling the truth. Even about the dead we are unsure they are really really dead and won't pop up later.
Its initial appearances of a traditional slasher movie may mislead you. It made a commendable effort to move away from the known clichés. There is a role mixture, where killings are not confined to one single protagonist.
I was not that much focused on racial issues, but maybe I'm not "woke" enough to see it, even after various recent (anno 2021) events. The Q&A after the screening clarified this topic very well. One may see similarities with the famous Get Out (Jordan Peele 2017) but there are major differences, so no imitation attempt. Moreover, this movie was completed before Get Out was released.

Like quite a few other people, it is easy to get sucked into the ratings game and base a film on its latest score.
With that in mind, an 83% score on RT would appear to be a good starting point, right?
Wrong.
This film was a cheaper-than-cheap amateur fest with a cast that appear to have been plucked out of the nearest drama school's reject cupboard. There's no story, no tension, no scares, and I reckon that even the 3 main characters were trying their very best not to burst out laughing throughout.
So you have to ask yourself how and why this garbage gets an eye watering 83% score on another well known review site. If critics cannot be honest in their appraisal of a film, then they are demeaning themselves, the movie industry, and most obviously the viewing public.

If this movie was written, shot, edited and directed by 15 year old's, then good job. I can't understand how any serious movie producers would make the choices they did, regarding story (yawn!) and editing (are we in the 80's?).
I'm giving 3/10 stars but only for the acting. They won't win an Oscar for this performance, but the relatively good acting made the movie bearable, and we actually watched it until the end.

Not much to see here... except cr*p acting, ridiculous lineup of pathetic people spewing out a laughable dialogue... and an absolute 'waste of time' plot.
Really guys, don't bother, you'll thank me. Really astounded that it's currently a 5.8!
