I miss the old James Avalon (assuaging my need by watching his older videos), but his current nearly-all-sex efforts for Mile High Media remain entertaining nonetheless. This set of vignettes in a new series for Mile High's Erotic X label are well-made but thin.
That's because the new, not necessarily improved, Avalon approach to Adult Cinema reduces story and characters to just the bare bones. With the typical vignette (or "scene" to use the universal parlance of porn practitioners) running about 30 minutes on average, the amount of NonSex material is limited to just a minute or two.
These encounters center around very young women, almost the so-called Teen genre (in porn teen means 18 or 19 years old so as not to be that illegal kiddie porn). Exception here is the opening segment titled "Take Me for a Ride" in which buxom and rather mature looking Skyla Novea, a rare starlet who looks like the porn stars of old rather than the schoolgirl next door, seduces motorcyle fanatic Tommy Gunn. She is one hot chick.
The other ladies are quite attractive, with Emma Hix's tall and very slim figure a show-stopper. No script-writing credit is listed, as the situations are rather basic: student/teacher relations in a karate class; dislike turning into lust for co-workers whose daddies are partner-owners of the company; and gymnast/coach hook-up.
Shot to be stand-alone scenes (for video streaming on-line), there is a token attempt to link up the material by having John Strong appear as a karate master in the last two vignettes, but it doesn't achieve its intended goal.
