I don't really like the dark bits in these prison episodes - too much real threat, shivs, violence, cannibalism, etc. But. Gina Gershon still features. So. It's worth it for her alone.
Jake talking about shower time in prison being scary. They have individual showers in prison. No one showers together. Writers should do their research.

- TriviaJake jokes about the movie Training Day (2001) being based on his life, paraphrasing Denzel Washington's famous "King Kong ain't got nothin' on me" scene. Terry Crews was standing behind Denzel Washington during that scene. In addition, Tank, who makes the connection, is played by Winston James Francis, who plays a part in the TV version of Training Day (2017).
- GoofsIn the surgical room, loose diamonds are seen being removed from a pig's stomach one at a time. Diamonds in the stomach would be a powerful irritant and could cause the pigs to vomit them up before reaching their destination. That's why humans who smuggle things in their stomachs will put them inside something smooth, like a balloon or condom, before swallowing.

Jake Peralta: [Talks to himself, trying to get through solitary] Okay. No big deal. Five days is nothing. I'm not afraid to be alone with my thoughts. My thoughts are awesome. "Die Hard 6" on a cruise ship, pizza bagel restaurant, my father never loved me, I'm gonna die alone oh, boy, that happened fast.
