I love this show! Tim McClellan is wonderful - restoring homes and spaces while maintaining the historical significance. He also creates one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture for every home/project! It's really amazing to see how each home can become new and functional while holding to it's historical beauty.

Unlike some, that have no business reviewing anything. My wife and I have DIY projects going on a constant basis. We enjoy this show, because it's real, Tim is a down to earth guy in a cool area of Arizona. Jerome is a living ghost town from mining days past...with a great history and located within some of the most beautiful scenery in the state. Houses which Tim remodels , are historical mostly and relate to a long and colorful history. If you haven't been to Jerome or the Verde Valley, it's a great destination. Keep up the good work, Tim!

Contractor shows up in some hopeless town to renovate a pile of junk. Opening segment has him gushing over the pile of junk like it should be considered a national monument. Mexican labor does the meat and potatoes renovations. Host does some ticky tack carpentry to tart up pile of junk that's still located in a hopeless town. He seems like a nice guy, though. He's not a sanctimonious d00**e like Mike Holmes. He's not a master of snark like the bald guy with the whiney blonde stick wife. He's not a brother/actor with more teeth than talent. He's not an over-caffeinated weirdo who jumps clients in the lumber yard. He's not a meth-head saving rundown houses in the Twin Cities. He's low key and relatable. I hope his show succeeds if only for his sake.

Tired of extended seasons of the same thing, decided to check this series out. After having seen Tim on Ellen Degeneres' design challenge show....this show was a breath of fresh air. Living in Arizona and knowing Jerome and the surrounding area and it's history, it was fun to watch these episodes and see history restored. So, it seems it appealed to a more regional audience. It , and Tim will be missed. Hopefully, someone will realize his skills and pickup the show or incorporate his work into a new series!
