Further evidence that I'll play anything for trophies, Toy Story Mania isn't the mindless cashgrab that you'd expect but make no mistake this is for a very specific demographic.
Alike Rio (2011) this isn't so much of a game as a series of minigames. Unlike Rio however this doesn't have much variation and only has about 4-5 different game types.
Mostly a shooting gallery this colorful, vocal, simplistic series of challenges encourages it's players left right and centre even rewarding failure.
As an experience for children you can do a lot worse than Toy Story Mania but how long they'll want to keep coming back to it is debatable as I'm not sure how much replay value it has.
Cheery, fun and family friendly though a tad patronising even for kids.
The Good:
Looks the part
Original voices
Loyal to the movies
The Bad:
Gets old fairly fast
Excessively condescending
Things I Learnt From This Game:
Woody says partner so many times I wanted to dropkick my telly
