Title Card: The tsunami on December 26th 2004 claimed an estimated 227,073 lives across twelve countries. 176,300 bodies were recovered. Two years later 50,773 people are still missing, presumed deceased. It is estimated that one third of the victims were children. A tsunami early warning system is now being set up in Thailand. Thousands of survivors are still trying to rebuild their homes and their lives and this process will continue for many years to come.
