Harper Deakins is suspended and Ethan (who doesn't know anything about being a DEA agent) tells her that she can get her suspension lifted by giving her boss "a big win". This is nonsense. An agent under suspension will lose his/her job permanently by trying to act as an agent while suspended.

Still, Deakins is suddenly back out on the job with her boss, and acting as an agent again as if she was never suspended, because she brought him a tip on some Russian gangsters. This isn't possible, let alone the least bit believable.
