Hooray - the Agnes plot gets a rest. It's already gone on far too long as it is.

Far more interesting is the mix of storylines covered here, from poor Sadie's struggles since the garage fire (suddenly Andrew and Wendy are back on track with their marriage- when did that happen??) and Cara rather overdoing her duties as Aunt to baby Thomas.

When it gets it right, 'Neighbours' is still a wonderful soap and so vitally important for so many of its legions of fans.

When it gets it wrong, you can feel the jarring of cogs and wheels spinning in an attempt to make the collection of characters we have gel.
