    Not bad for No budget

Decent effort considering this was clearly made without any real budget. Probably shot on a gopro or something similar.

The whole film is seen directly & continuously through the lead characters eyes (hence the POV; point of view title) and happens on screen in real time. Takes a while before the horror element of the piece really kicks in but script & story wise it's not bad, actors are all pretty good and I was impressed with the demon make up.

Be hard to put it up against a multi million dollar budget hollywood horror but shows promise and it's worth a look if you're interested in DIY indie filmmaking. Neat concept, would be interesting to see how this could turn out with some serious cash behind it.

A very scary and unrelenting horror

Riveting thriller about a man who is blindfolded, and taken to an old abandoned care home in England to celebrate his birthday. The blindfold is finally removed when he arrives, so he doesn't know where he is, or how he got there. The whole movie is shot through the eyes of the lead character, Zack, much the the Prodigy's music video 'Smack my b*tch up'. The scenarios are realistic and surreal, not to mention exceptionally chilling and unnerving the more it goes on. It stars Tom Clear (who played the Stalker in 'Eve's Demons'). Clear excels in his role, as do the supporting cast (which include the fantastic, ditzy Tuula Costelloe) who all do an equally impressive job. Writer and director, Dunford has broken new ground here, and made a film that is not only violent, but very intelligently made as well. I highly recommend you see this film if you are a fan of good suspense films. It is not for the faint hearted and will make you want to sleep with the lights on for weeks after. Leaves you feeling uneasy for days after seeing it.

I wanted to like it :(

I have this rule, that if a film is from the UK I will love it, and that formula has proven true until now. GRANTED the film was made with a mere 9000 pounds, sadly the production cost is not what ruins this film for me. The acting was the only real horror in this film, the "demons" were anything but remotely scary, and the story itself is confusing and fragmented. The ending is ridiculous, and when the demons speak, the computer distortion is so aggressive it's really even hard to understand what they are saying. Sadly this flick falls short in every aspect of what a film should be. Save yourself the time, by the end of the film I did feel like clawing out my own eyes.
