As far as the acting, storytelling, music, and scenery they do a great job. The actress for Joan was spectacular and you could feel her frustration and confusion through the screen. They took real historical events and had an amazing way of telling the story in a documentary style while also incorporating action pieces so you could feel the brutality of the events that took place.
I did hope to see more of the interactions she had with other Saints that was mentioned rather than the whispers they portrayed them as. I also wish they had focused more of her prayer after her acceptance to sign the document, seeing as this was the huge turning point in her story
I was not a fan of the post interviews. They seemed to be extremely critical of the idea of Sainthood and questions that they had posed weren't answered. For instance, the woman criticized the "obsession" with virginity and Fr. Martin didn't give an answer to that aside from saying the church "used to give it value". The reality is that there is a lot of value given even today to virginity, and it is an incredible way to devote oneself to God, as thousands of religious sisters around the world do it today. If they were going to do this conversation at the end, it would have been better had they given genuine answers to questions instead of brushing by questions and comments that were made.
Aside from this ending, the quality of the show was good and it told her story in a good and true way.
