Featured review
It opened with a song and dance number featuring Martin Short, highlighting several of his more-famous films. Then came the long list of stars paying their respects. Each celebrity had an amazing speech prepared. Some were so funny my sides hurt from laughing.
I've been a Mel Brooks fan for years and never heard some of the stories they told there. There was a real special message from Gene Wilder, and Matthew Broderick's speech made me laugh and brought a few tears to my eyes.
You could tell Mel was really moved by all the swell things people had to say. There were clips from his movies, including one from the mostly-unheard-of "Life Stinks". I just wish Dom DeLuis was alive. It would've made the reunion of the Brooks cast members a little sweeter.
I hope this comes available to purchase soon. I really want to see it again.
