Katharine Isabelle plays a character named Gale Prescott, paying homage to the characters of Sidney Prescott and Gale Weathers from Scream (1996).
In the documentary "Better Off" about the making of the film, Jane and Jess say they changed the relationship of their characters after meeting on the set of the film.
Principal photography took place from 20 Mar 2023 - 14 Apr 2023, and it premiered five and-a-half months later, at Beyond Fest.
