Chapter Five: Across the Yule-Verse

Any unanswered questions about the night Scott Calvi n became Santa Claus (as depicted in 1994's "The Santa Clause")? Well, watch this episode and you learn a few things.

And, ladies and gentlemen, we have a Bernard sighting. David Krumholtz's head elf comes back at a good moment and has a few fun lines, including relating to his relationship with an Oscar winner - no spoilers! - and sets Scott off on a mission to save Christmas.

I admit it, I enjoyed this episode the most of all of them so far. It had kind of an "A Christmas Carol" vibe to it.

Yes, the cringey jokes that pop up every now and again still make me scratch my head, but on the balance of things, "The Santa Clauses" is good fun.

When the Calvin family is attempting to fly the cart into a vortex, Cal, the only one who can see the vortexes, has his eyes closed due to his fear. The horse tells him to open his eyes and he responds. Cal is not supposed to be able to understand the animals' speech. That's Sandra's magical ability.
