Circa 1989, Patrick James appeared in a total of 24 episodes as Zorro for Caracol Television. The producers revamped the series for The Family Channel and replaced everyone in the cast except Patrice Martinez, in which Duncan Regehr played the lead as Zorro from 1990 to 1992. Some international channels have aired the Patrick James/Caracol Television version circa 1991.
