This movie draws you in from the very beginning as a coming of age movie. It's playful and edgy but then turns into a very heartfelt story about liberation. I don't want to ruin the magic the movie has to offer the viewer with any spoilers but I will say that I was at the premier and there for the Q&A with cast and the director. The movie is based on the directors real life experience and makes this all the more beautiful of a film. The four main characters are adorable, and the older brother played by Blaine Kern is masterful. Blaine could be the next Brad Pitt. SEE THIS MOVIE ! More importantly, I'm going to have my teenagers see it to talk about the important issues it raises.
I totally love this film from beginning to end! If you think sexual confusion is something that has just happened you are wrong. It must've been so much harder to come out as non-hetero or to be confused in the 70s and this treats the subject matter beautifully. With tenderness and humor and lots of silly mishaps this gang of boys are growing up quickly, and trying to figure out who they are. I loved all the characters, especially the sister and who I wish I had seen more of actress Courtney Danforth, whom I've never seen before... Always love Reid Miller. And the kid who played Mark, Oliver Wyman, is super dope. A total stoner LGBTQ drama comedy that I think the whole family can watch! Language is a bit out there, but that is consistent with the time of the 70s! I think...

This is an extremely heart warming and hilarious coming of age movie about a young man in the 70s finding his own personal liberation. It's beautifully shot on a modest budget and the performances are all really natural and charismatic, the standouts being Oliver Hibbs Wyman & Blaine Kerns' performances. Highly recommend you go catch this special indie. The movie is based off of the director's own personal experiences growing up in the 1970's. It tackles themes of boyhood, manhood, friendship, parental troubles, drug experimentation, and situational humor deftly and excitingly. The pacing is nice and doesn't drag much. Check it out.
Feeling Randy is so much fun! I did not know what to expect but the film is delightful! I understood the family drama only too well. The fact that it's set in the 70s so perfectly makes it seamlessly enjoyable. The acting is superb standouts are Marguerite Moreau, Jonathan Silverman Tyler Lawrence Gray looking super hot and new talent Oliver Hibbs Wyman as Marc is simply awesome. Could not look away.
Also, the music was so original and perfect for the time :-) really great soundtrack. I really felt like I was in the 70s in the bay area. The hot tub scene between Blaine Kern and Reid Miller is just the right amount of sexy. I thought the editing was fresh And fun. Check it out.
