This was the first ever hour-long episode. Originally two separate episodes, this and Episode #1.3407 (1992) were edited together to compete with the BBC's new soap, Eldorado (1992). The cast from Julie Goodyear down only appeared in the second part. The first episode originally ended with Ivy's phone call to Julie. It was written by Paul Abbott, while the second was penned by Tom Elliott.
