Joan of Arc

I like "Mystery Files"--and so I do recommend you see "Joan of Arc". However, I must also admit that it's not one of the more compelling episodes and nothing new seems to come out of the show. Either Joan was as batty as a March hare, she really heard voices from God or she was a liar. None of these really were established here and never will be. Mostly it's just a retelling of her story in a mildly interesting manner and not much more. Not one of the more insightful or memorable shows about this character nor any real information about her martyrdom that hasn't been discussed before this time. Sorry--wish I could say more but the show was only mildly satisfying.

i understand she was under Catholicism and prayed to a dead Jewish woman, Mary, but really I'm surprised only catholic vision of Mary was chosen to check a person's pain level vs pain tolerance and faith-- totally unscientific testing and presented as if it were utter proof and truth.... nothing could be further, many people know about God but many don't have a personal relationship with Him and who hear Him speak and direct in many aspects of life.

I feel sad for those who do not have a personal relationship with the Lord and who have not experienced "hearing His voice" example: the voice of the Holy Spirit who according to scriptures does tell us of things to come.

As for the catholic church being the deciding of who is saint and who is witch perhaps they should burn the Vatican at the stake for all it's witchcraft practices such as praying to the dead, which sounds more schizophrenic to me than Joan of Arc hearing from the God if Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who spoke both via HIS Holy Spirit and audibly from a mountain top in the ears of hundreds of people who I guess Mystery Files would deem were all schizophrenic as well right? Or no, they would rather call the bible a myth not absolute truth. programs that misquote and utterly do not portray believers and the scriptures correctly really should be dismissed from shows like this that people actually believe is truth of history being given.

Joan of Arc is kind totally different one, since I was a child l've been heard about this Saint who help French Army against English, but in this episode has new evidences that didn't watching in any movie before, is about that after his death the war continues for more twenty years, so this evidence didn't change the status of Joan but taking you think why??? The answer probably the Catholic church has.
