    The Door Episode!

When Axl breaks down the door, his father, Mike, orders him to fix it himself. Until then, the door is down for the count. That means cold weather is coming to Orson, Indiana and Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons making the round to the Heck home. It's not a bad episode! It's actually a very witty episode as Mike tries to prove a point with teenage Axl. What a name? They should explain how they named their sons, Axl, and Brick. Anyway, the door is down which can mean any number of things like breaking an entry, burglaries, etc. but nothing like that happens just a lot of leaves in the fall and wearing coats until Axl gets the message but he refuses so the door is down until he can learn from his mistakes.

    • Goofs
When Axle is standing in the doorway after the door falls down, the houses can be seen in the background with lights in the doorways. During daytime outdoor scenes, there is nothing but tall hedges across the street from the house.
    • Quotes

Mike Heck: Thanks for the backup, pal.

Frankie Heck: Listen, there are all different kinds of backup, Mike. Like when you partner loses his mind and you gotta knock some freaking sense into him. Remember the time you grew the Tom Selleck mustache and I had to shave it off in your sleep? Backup!
