Season 2 not as good as Season 1 (yet)

So far Season 2 isn't doing it for me. I'm hoping that it gets better, however Season 1 was so good so it's a high bar to achieve.

The music is still awful and adds nothing to the story. The show could have used a better consultant for mid-1970s fashions. Men never wore goatees, "soul patches" or partly shaved beards. It was all mustaches or clean shaven. Everyone's ties should have been wider and shirt collars longer and more pointy. I was there, I live it.

It is believed by Australian police that it is unlikely that Donald Mackay's body will ever be found. This is because the man believed to have shot him (he was convicted for conspiracy to commit murder, not murder), James 'Machine Gun' Bazley, died in 2018 without ever confessing. Despite this, Mackay's family has continued to turn to the Australian public for help in the recovery of Donald Mackay's body.

Goofs
Assuming these episodes are meant to follow each other in a chronological order, that is, the producers are suggesting that Don Mackay went "missing" before the Great Bookie Robbery, historically, this does not work out. The Robbery occurred back on Wednesday, the 21 April 1976. This was fifteen months before Donald Mackay was murdered, and in fact, neither Mr. Rent-a-Kill Flannery nor Aussie Bob were involved in that blag.
