    Escaped Tiger

A tiger escapes from a carnival and ends up on the Martin ranch.

An OK episode. The show begins with a funny scene of Leroy letting out some pigs from their pen and the whole family chasing them all around. Buck fires Leroy (again). The tiger climbs into the back of Doris' truck. She finds out he is tame and he drinks from a huge tub of milk. The sheriff finds out about the escape and brings a bunch of armed men. He is played by Barney Phillips, who was Joe Friday's partner for a short time on the original Dragnet. Animal lover Doris (and she really was) doesn't want the tiger to be shot. She gets Leroy to help catch him.
