Featured review
When two high school students vanish after a basketball game, Capt. Brass interview their obnoxious parents. Ryan Lansco is a popular top player and his girlfriend Megan Cooper is a cheerleader. Brass requests Grissom to investigate the case and soon he finds Ryan's blood in his parking space. Grissom and Nick follow the trail the blood to the football field, where there is a large pool of blood. They also see a shed which door has been kicked and broken glass inside. Meanwhile, Sara interviews Megan's best friend Sheila Lathan, who has headache and is evasive in her answers. Catherine checks the phones records and learn that last call from Megan was to Sheila and the last call from Ryan was to his photography teacher Diane Kentner. Warrick interviews Diane and learns about Charlie Kellerman, who loves Megan, who loves Ryan. Hodges investigates the broken glass and informs that it is an optical glass of a professional camera. When Nick and Greg find Megan seriously wounded, she is taken to the desert Palm Hospital. They also find Ryan's van, and while processing the sleeping bag found inside the van, they find crabs louse. Now the investigators use the evidences and interview to determine what has really happened.
"Fallen Idols" is a reasonable episode of "CSI". The plot is complicated but the CSI investigators are able to find the truth. The decision to not prosecute Megan is absurd, but it is not failed by the CSI team. My vote is seven.
