In Search Of... "King Tut" (1979)

The final episode from season three revisits a previous episode dealing with curses from mummy's tombs but this one here focuses in on King Tut. We learn a little history about King Tut before moving onto his tomb being discovered. From here we learn about the various curses that were rumored to have come from his tomb being bothered and we also get to hear about how his death might have helped form a certain religion. This final episode of the season ends on a high note as the stories told are certainly very entertaining and we've given some interesting bits of information on the subject. The interviews are certainly good and there's no doubt that he story is told in a way that keeps you interested in what's going on.

Last broadcast episode of the third season is a sequel(of sorts) to the earlier 'The Mummy's Curse', though this time the focus is on the man, or more specifically the boy king Tut, and how he was supposed to have lived, and may have either died from TB, or perhaps was murdered by devious priests who used his ascension and death for their own ends, and how he reigned for ten years, from a boy of nine, to a young man of nineteen. Interesting account and atmosphere punctuate this revealing look at the tragically fated young pharaoh whose unlikely rise from obscurity to prominence was caused by the circumstances of his tomb unearthing,
