Killing

Two of Doctor Who's prolific writers Bob Baker and Dave Martin teamed up once again to pen 'Killing,' Jack Shepherd cast as the lead Mark Hawkins, an employee at at a large bank. The Bank intends to update their software, but over the years Mark has developed his own computer programme and played the stock-markets, amassing Two million pounds. Martha Fredricks is brought in from AMI to help with the update and has to work with Mark, she learns of his plans, and with money problems of her own and a husband in the Police force she has a big decision to make.

This was an audacious story, very imaginative, creative, very much as one would expect from Baker and Martin. I find Jack Shepherd a little hit and miss at times, but he's really good in this, it's a fine performance, but Angela Down is excellent, great performance from her.

Another interesting snapshot into a time gone by. Talk about an unexpected twist. 7/10
