Episode 5

Gurney Slade is telling a bunch of children a story about a magical tinker.

Then a wedding guest (Bernie Winters) wanders in with a lady friend. He is rather cool towards his lady friend, despite her come ons. Until Gurney slade mesmerizes him

Then he warms towards her but the lady friend wants none of it. Leaving the man confused.

Everyone is confused when an actual tinker turns up. The story about him was an allegory.

When the children disappear, Gurney Slade find out that the kids are inside his mind. Now he needs to free them from his head.

It certainly takes a surreal turn when the kids vanish. There is even a malevolent doppelganger of Gurney asking him to watch a French film, the racy sort.

It starts out as a show about a storyteller but becomes something a bit different.

It is even weird to see a slim Bernie Winters.
