The Good, the Bad and the Nasty

The Optimist pastiches western movies, especially those of Clint Eastwood. Like his spittle, he misses the pot.

The Optimist rides into town as he manages to have his rowel's stuck to the floor of the car.

He arrives at the cowboy ranch and immediately falls for the pretty girl. This novice cowboy is no match for the Rival (Martin Kove.)

The Optimist can't play guitar, be a cowpoke, he can't even spit like the grizzly old timer. Maybe he should take up karate.

Eventually both men go for a shootout. It could all be a dream.

The second episode is a disappointment. Even with Martin Kove, then also appearing in Cagney & Lacey, there is little he can do to salvage the episode. Especially given that Kove proved later on in the Karate Kid franchise, he can be a devious baddie.
