Failed pilot and you can see why

A back door pilot shot as an episode, this one failed for obvious reasons. Fran Drescher was not yet at her full strength for sure but the real weakness is Donna Dixon who comes across as a dumb bimbo no matter what she does, in large part due to her lack of any serious acting chops. She's really a one note performer and always had been, who probably got where she is on her looks rather than talent. It's a wasted episode as a result and a throwaway for series fans.
