Americans, you're all crazy.

Robert's mother is in town, and contrives a stay, she seems well meaning, but soon becomes an awkward house guest.

It's a funny episode, it goes a long way to explaining why Robert is the way he is, and why he's quite thrifty with money.

This is one of those awkward, funny episodes, where they create an almost grotesque character. Nobody who dislikes noise would want to spend time with these two. It's an amusing way to end the first series.

The lovely, lovely Joyce Carey is delightful as Robert's mother.

It's been a very fine first series ovwrall, 7/10.
