It is Kes's birthday and Neelix gets jealous when Tom Paris gives up his ration allowances for a personal present for her. It will not be the only time Neelix will be jealous in this episode.

Kes's birthday celebrations are cut short. Voyager encountered an anomaly that distorts the ship. Everyone is going round in circles trying to get to the bridge.

Any action they take, might end up destroying Voyager completely. It seems there is no way out for the crew. At least the Holodoc is not without female admirers.

There is so much wrong with the episode. I guess Kes is three but she has men lusting after her. Neelix getting jealous as Kes guesses whose quarters they could be near.

Most of the episodes is the cast just wandering about until a weak resolution. Very much a low budget episode.
