The Lost Colony of Virginia

A small colony is Virginia is trying to keep the native Indians at bay.

The colonists have got duff guns sent by a greedy supplier in London. Outnumbered they are reliant on outside help.

This arrives when Francis Drake arrives in the nick of time but he needs to outsmart the Spaniards.

The question do the colonists pack up and go back to England or stay and make a new life?

Apparently the Indians got angry as they were loaned a rifle to hunt. The duff gun ended up blinding their chief!

Still you have on one side native Indians with arrows. The other side colonists with guns, then Drake arrives with cannons. It was all so one sided.

Francis Drake is aided by a stowaway who turns out to be a woman. She is also handy in battle.

Look out for Barry Foster and Glynn Edwards. There is a magisterial air from Roger Delgado.
