Do not expect much from the title.

Let's be fair and indulgent. This is an episode made for a TV show, not a Cecil B De Mille thirty millions production, nor a biblical epic either. Despite Hannibal character and his supposed fight against the Roman legions, it's very talkative, as the Italian sword and sandal movies from the sixties were. Features where you had more talks in palaces with byzantine intrigues, and women bringing poison or snakes to take revenge on males, than huge battle scenes. Faith Domergue tries her best to purchase some spice in this theatrical like story pulled by acceptable performances. Maybe it would have needed more budget and ambition too. Even the battle scenes are ridiculous, lousy at a scale you can't even imagine
