    • Trivia
The large room at the Press Telegram office with orange walls and white tiled floors, was also used in You Only Die Twice (1985).
    • Goofs
When the car tries to run Charlie down, a support can be seen supporting the Vette's right door. When the door is hit, it comes away cleanly instead of bending and tearing away at the hinge. When the door hits the ground, there is no broken glass. This indicates a prop door.
    • Quotes

Charlie Benton: Now whispers are starting again. Whitewash, stonewall. This isn't the Peoria Prairie News. This is the Washington Telegram. It stands for something! Or at least it used to.
