Once More Into the Breach

This episode pushes the reality that we, as a nation, are consumed with alcohol. We brag about how much we drink. Kids think it's cool to get hammered or to binge drink. We use every opportunity to have a drink. I notice that every time a sports team wins, the fans are interviewed in a crowded bar. There's no changing that, but like everything else, if you do it, You accept the consequences. Yes, alcoholism is a disease, but we continue to give the alcoholic all he wants without batting an eye. In the other case, Ellenor is trying to save a woman on death row. I'll see how it plays out because time is a big factor.
