    Why Does This Industry Exist?

The premise is interesting. A man who is suffering from what appears to be amnesia finds himself in a homeless shelter. He carries a case containing several vials. It turns out that these vials contain his memories. There are government agents after him. He enlists the help of the pretty director of the shelter who carries around some secrets of her own (though more personal than scientific). As the guy injects the fluids in these cartridges into his body, he experiences huge jolts of energy, past experiences, and pain. He finds out what his name is an his past history. The episode explores that past history and I don't want to give anything away, other than there are ironies at work here and the past is full of pitfalls. I found the episode quite contrived in its plotting and I was a bit disappointed in its ending. Still, it keeps our attention.
