    The Case Is Everything

The focus of this entire episode is two female witnesses. The interesting thing is that the cops do everything they can to get the case to go forward. They seem to ignore that they aren't the ones threatened or who will die. The first is a retrial where the woman wants nothing to do with the case but gets lied to. The second is a woman who has been told she will be killed if she testifies and she is lied to twice.

      [Heywood is not amused]

Lt. Tony Rodriguez: But we'll give it a shot.
