Hank's 'Diminished Gluteal Syndrome' is a fictional disease. However, the symptoms Hank describes belong to a read of diseases including Deep Gluteal Syndrome, Piriformis Syndrome (the likely candidate based on the the extreme lower and middle back), and Dead Butt Syndrome. The prosthesis, however, is not real.
